Requirements: DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
Active state dental license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry (post-residency if applicable)
Clinical Competencies (Bread & Butter Dentistry)
Proficient in comprehensive exams, treatment planning, and patient education
Comfortable diagnosing and restoring caries
Experience with:
Class I–V composite restorations
Crowns (prep, temporization, delivery)
Simple and surgical extractions
Basic endodontic procedures (primarily anterior and premolar)
Fixed prosthodontics (single-unit crowns, simple bridges)
Ability to manage routine dental emergencies
Familiarity with digital radiographs and modern dental technology
