Skills: Performing dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive hygiene services
Conducting patient assessments, periodontal charting, and medical history reviews
Taking and processing digital dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations
Educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive treatment
Assisting with periodontal therapy and non-surgical treatments
Maintaining accurate clinical notes and patient documentation
Following sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols
Supporting efficient patient flow and schedule management
Communicating clearly and compassionately with patients and team members
Using dental software and digital charting systems
Requirements: Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Radiation safety or dental X-ray certification as required by state law
Knowledge of infection control standards, OSHA guidelines, and HIPAA compliance
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality patient care
Professional, patient-friendly communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform clinical hygiene duties
